add the smart widget on the iPhone

With the launch of iOS 14 in 2020, Apple gives really amazing access controls to the users. In this new version the users can aff widgets to their iPhone’s home screen, and also they can create their own widgets. Smart widgets will help the users to not only enhance the accessibility but also help them to save space. The widgets can be stacked on top of each other so that the space of the iPhone can be saved. The only thing you must keep in mind that you can only stack widgets that have the same size.

Steps to create smart widgets

Here we will learn how to create or add a smart widget to the home screen of your iPhone.

Step 1: First of all go to the home screen of your iPhone and hold the screen with your finger to reach a space or till all the apps start to jiggle.

Step 2: Now click on the “+” icon available on the top of the screen and you will see a list of widgets.

Step 3: Now scroll the list and you will figure out that you will see widgets for all the apps including those which you have launched once only.

Step 4: Select the widget you want to add or stack to your iPhone. In the next screen, you can add more widgets to the stack but don’t forget that all the widgets should be of the same size.

Step 5: Next, hold your finger against the widget, and then you can place your widget on your home screen at your desired location. You can also place it into the smart stack and after selecting the location just release it.

Step 6: As a result, the widget will be combined with the selected location or smart stack of your iPhone
