How to change app permissions in Android

Android has made many changes to make sure that the users will not face any problems in accessing their apps. One of the most amazing features of these changes the permission setting of different applications. This feature is beneficial because this is the way to stop applications to control whether your apps can access your android’s microphone, camera, and more. In this article, there is a process to change the app permission for different applications.

Steps to change app permissions in Android

Proceed with the steps to change the permissions of the available application on your android phone:

Step 1: Swipe up to your android device and then navigate to the Settings option available in the list of the apps. You can also go to the notification bar to reach the settings.

Step 2: from the settings option displayed on the screen find and click on the “Apps” option. Instead, you can also go to the “Manage Apps” option available in the settings option.

Step 3: Now click on the app you want to modify or change permissions. This will take you to the information screen of the app where you can find different information like app data, app size, and more.

Step 4: On the app information page there is an option “Permission” click on the same. Here you can allow or deny the specific functions like microphone, call logs, camera, and more. After making changes as per your preferences move to the next step.

Step 5: Some of the applications also ask for additional permissions apart from basic functions like access dial, gallery, videos, and more. To deny them in the information section of an app click on the “Other permissions” sections and change the permissions accordingly.
