You need to click a few options in the described order and you will eventually reach the BIOS of your windows 10 PC. So let us proceed with the process without wasting time.

Steps to use BIOS in windows 10 using settings

Turn On your windows 10 PC and then follow the process mentioned here to locate the BIOS within few seconds only:

Step 1: First of all click on the “Window” button of your Windows 10 PC and then go to the “Settings” option.

Step 2: After that click on the “Updates security” option available in the settings.

Step 3: Here you need to look for a recovery button that is available on the left side of the screen and you will reach the recovery settings.

Step 4: Further look for “Advance Setup” and it will say you to “Restart Now”. So, you need to click on the “Restart Now” button.

Step 5: It will restart the PC and you will land on the page that will have some options. From the options provided on the screen click on the “TroubleShoot”.

Step 6: Now you need to click on the “Advanced options” and here look for 

UEFI Firmware”.

Step 7: Click on UEFI Firmware settings and then click on “Restart

Step 8: This will take you to the BIOS settings where you can make changes to your BIOS like change the boot order, chipset settings, and more. 

You don’t need to visit the BIOS settings if you don’t have any changes to make. So, these steps are only for those situations when you need to make changes. The other method to reach the BIOS is to press some specific key during the booting time. This key may be different for different brands of computers or laptops like for Dell its F12, HP its F10, Lenovo its F1 or F2 and accordingly. You can use any of the methods to reach your BIOS when you need to.
